Colborne is home — it’s where Load-N-Lift Disposal is based, so this is the one place in our service area where the truck is minutes away rather than dispatched across the county. That means the fastest same-day bin drops we offer anywhere. From farm and barn cleanouts across Cramahe Township, to renovations in the historic village around Colborne’s square and up in Castleton, to seasonal reno, deck and dock work along the Lake Ontario shoreline at Wicklow and Lakeport, we drop a clean roll-off bin exactly where you need it and haul it away when you’re done. We know the County CRC system and the bag-tag and tipping rules cold. We’re a family-owned, Ministry of Environment–certified company, and we’ve been voted Best Junk Removal Company three years running by ThreeBest Rated.
We carry mini-bins and multi-lift roll-off containers in six sizes, so you only pay for the space you actually need. Every bin has a door that opens to ground level and rollers that protect your driveway.
Collection here is run by the County of Northumberland, not the Township — and it caps curbside at just two County bag-tagged garbage bags a week each, with no bulky-item pickup. Bigger items like scrap, white goods, drywall, tires and mattresses aren’t collected at the curb at all; they have to go to a County Community Recycling Centre. The nearest full-service site is the Brighton CRC (1112 County Road 26, about 15 minutes east) — the County’s only landfill and the only site accepting dump trailers — and it needs proof of County residence and debit or credit payment. For anything bigger than a car-load, a roll-off bin is almost always cheaper and far less work: being based right here in Colborne, we can usually drop a bin the same day, you fill it on your own schedule, and we take it to the scale and dispose of it responsibly — and we provide weigh-scale receipts with every rental.
Great for: farm & barn cleanouts • large-property brush & debris • estate, garage & basement clean-outs • shoreline & cottage reno, deck & dock tear-offs • roofing debris • renovation & construction debris • clean fill. If your waste is unbecoming to you… it should be coming to us!
“I had never rented a dumpster before, but Tom and his family made it easy for me. Good competitive price, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Couldn’t ask for more!”
— Pamela McLaren
“I have had a relationship with this company for the last 12 years or so. They are friendly, courteous and have taken care of all my needs during this time. I would recommend them and I have — 100%.”

Do I need a permit to put a bin in Colborne or Cramahe?
Cramahe Township doesn’t appear to publish a specific bin-on-street permit, so a bin on your own driveway or private property needs none. If it has to sit on a Township road or boulevard, we confirm the placement rules with the Township (905-355-2821) first — wherever possible we’ll place the bin on your property so you don’t need one.
How quickly can you deliver in Colborne or Cramahe?
This is our home town and head office, so it’s where we’re fastest — the truck is minutes away, not sent across the county, and same-day drop-off is usually available. Call 905 355-2894 to check today’s availability.
What size bin do I need?
A single-room reno, deck or dock tear-off normally fits a 7–11 yard bin; a barn or outbuilding clear-out, whole-home or roof job, or a large-property brush cleanout is better in a 16–25 yard bin. Not sure? Tell us the project and we’ll recommend the right size.
What can’t go in the bin?
Hazardous waste, liquids, propane tanks, tires and certain electronics can’t go in a standard bin — just ask and we’ll point you to the right option.
We also deliver bins across Northumberland County, including Cobourg , Brighton , Port Hope and Warkworth . See all areas we serve .
