Bin & Dumpster Rental in Brighton, Ontario

Roll-off bins dropped in your Brighton driveway — same or next day

Brighton sits right next door to our Colborne depot — only about 10 to 15 minutes away — so when you need a disposal bin in apple country, we can usually have one at your door the same or next day. From orchard and barn teardowns in Smithfield and Codrington, to waterfront cottage and dock rebuilds at Presqu’ile Point and Gosport, to downtown renos along Main Street and new-build growth on the Hilton side, Load-N-Lift Disposal drops a clean roll-off bin exactly where you need it and hauls it away when you’re done. We’re a family-owned, Ministry of Environment–certified company, and we’ve been voted Best Junk Removal Company three years running by ThreeBest Rated.

Bin sizes for every Brighton project

We carry mini-bins and multi-lift roll-off containers in six sizes, so you only pay for the space you actually need. Every bin has a door that opens to ground level and rollers that protect your driveway.

  • 7 & 8 yard — small bathroom or single-room reno, garage tidy-up, deck or dock tear-off. Fits tight downtown and cottage-lane driveways.
  • 11 yard — kitchen reno, large garage or shed clean-out, small roofing job.
  • 16 yard — whole-basement clean-out, mid-size renovation, estate or downsizing clean-up.
  • 20 & 25 yard — full home clean-out, barn or outbuilding teardown, larger roofing tear-off, construction and demolition debris, big commercial jobs.

Getting rid of waste in Brighton

Brighton is actually home to Northumberland County’s only landfill — the Brighton Community Recycling Centre (CRC) at 1112 County Road 26, just north of Highway 401. All curbside household garbage across the County comes here, and it’s the one County site that accepts dump trailers. But dropping off yourself means proving County residence or business, paying by weight (debit or credit only — no cash), and working around limited hours: open Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri and Sat 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Thu 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with household hazardous waste taken Mon, Wed and Sat only. As of April 1, 2026, loads under 100 kg are a $15 flat fee (leaf & yard waste $7.50), with free drop-off of recycling, HHW, electronics, tires and clothing; heavier loads are charged by weight.

On top of that, Northumberland County requires a bag tag ($4.25 each) on every garbage bag, caps curbside pickup at just 2 bags a week (each under 44 lb / 20 kg), and offers no scheduled bulky-item curbside pickup — so anything big has to be hauled to the CRC yourself. For a reno, roof, barn or big cleanout, that adds up fast. Instead, we drop a bin in your driveway, you fill it on your own schedule, and we haul it to the scale and dispose of it responsibly — with weigh-scale receipts provided. Because our Colborne depot is only 10 to 15 minutes away, Brighton gets some of our fastest service.

Great for: roofing debris • barn, outbuilding & ag-debris teardowns • estate, garage & basement clean-outs • renovation & construction debris • clean fill • waterfront deck & dock rebuilds • spring & fall cottage clean-up near Presqu’ile. If your waste is unbecoming to you… it should be coming to us!

Up-front pricing & local discounts

  • UP-FRONT pricing — no surprises; you know the cost before the bin arrives.
  • 5% Senior discount and 5% Military discount on all bin rentals.
  • Weigh-scale receipts supplied with every rental.
  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and cash accepted.
  • Fully insured, property-friendly service — certified by the Ministry of Environment.

Brighton bin rental — frequently asked questions

Do I need a permit to put a bin in Brighton?
If the bin sits on your own driveway or private property, no permit is needed. If it has to sit on a municipal road allowance, Brighton’s Control of Municipal Property By-law governs encroachments — wherever possible we’ll place the bin on your driveway so you don’t need one. For road placement, contact Brighton By-law at 613-475-0670.

How quickly can you deliver in Brighton?
Usually same-day or next-day, since we’re only about 10 to 15 minutes away in Colborne. Call 905 355-2894 to check today’s availability.

What size bin do I need?
A single-room reno or garage clean-out normally fits a 7–11 yard bin; a full basement, roof, barn or whole-home clean-out is better in a 16–25 yard bin. Not sure? Tell us the project and we’ll recommend the right size.

What can’t go in the bin?
Hazardous waste, liquids, propane tanks, tires and certain electronics can’t go in a standard bin — just ask and we’ll point you to the right option.
