Tweed is small-town, rural Hastings County cottage country — the Village of Tweed sits on the Moira River, with roughly 70% of the municipality’s residents spread across five hamlets and along the shores of Stoco Lake. That makes for a lot of acreage cleanups, barn and outbuilding teardowns, estate clearouts and cottage cleanouts a long way from the single depot on Marlbank Road. About 40 minutes from our Trenton yard by way of Belleville, Load-N-Lift Disposal drops a clean roll-off bin exactly where you need it — in the village, out at Actinolite, Thomasburg, Marlbank, Queensborough or Stoco — and hauls it away when you’re done. We’re a family-owned, Ministry of Environment–certified company, and we’ve been voted Best Junk Removal Company three years running by ThreeBest Rated.
We carry mini-bins and multi-lift roll-off containers in six sizes, so you only pay for the space you actually need. Every bin has a door that opens to ground level and rollers that protect your driveway.
The Municipality of Tweed Waste Disposal Site & Recycling Depot at 831 Marlbank Road is the municipality’s only depot — open limited days (summer: Tue 9–5, Wed 1–8, Sat 9–5; winter: Tue 9–5, Wed 1–5, Sat 9–5), residents only, garbage in clear bags with $3 bag tags, no tractor-trailers, and refrigerant appliances must be tagged. There’s no dedicated bulky curbside program, so furniture, construction debris and shingles go to the Marlbank Road site charged by the ton (about $205.90/ton, $30 minimum), and construction or demolition debris also needs a building/demolition permit shown on site. For a cottage cleanout or reno, a roll-off bin is almost always cheaper and far less work: we drop it in your driveway, you fill it on your own schedule, and we take it to the scale and dispose of it responsibly — and we provide weigh-scale receipts with every rental.
Great for: spring-open & fall-close cottage cleanouts on Stoco Lake • deck, dock & shoreline debris • acreage cleanups & barn/outbuilding teardowns • estate, garage & basement clean-outs • renovation, roofing & construction debris • downsizing & move-out clear-outs. If your waste is unbecoming to you… it should be coming to us!
“Thank you so much for your kindness in picking up our chesterfield. This was such a big help for us as we are not as young as we used to be.”

Do I need a permit to put a bin in Tweed?
If the bin sits on your own driveway or private property, no permit is needed. Tweed’s fee schedule lists a Temporary Road Occupancy permit ($50, or $15/day) for occupying a municipal road, which would cover a bin placed on the road allowance — wherever possible we’ll place the bin on your property so you don’t need one. Confirm with the Municipal Office at 613-478-2535.
How quickly can you deliver in Tweed?
Usually same-day or next-day. Tweed is about 40 minutes from our Trenton yard by way of Belleville. Call 613 965-6616 to check today’s availability.
What size bin do I need?
A single-room reno, deck tear-off or spring cottage clean-out normally fits a 7–11 yard bin; a full basement, roof, barn or whole-property clean-out is better in a 16–25 yard bin. Not sure? Tell us the project and we’ll recommend the right size.
What can’t go in the bin?
Hazardous waste, liquids, propane tanks, tires and certain electronics can’t go in a standard bin — just ask and we’ll point you to the right option.
We also deliver bins throughout Hastings County and the Quinte region, including Madoc , Marmora , Belleville and Stirling . See all areas we serve for bin rental anywhere in our service area.
