Consumption creates waste, construction creates waste, and even creation creates waste. It’s an unfortunate part of the process a lot of the time and the need to collect, handle, and dispose of waste properly has been a must for civic and municipal administrators for well more than a hundred years now. In fact it probably was an issue for the small towns all across Canada in the earliest part of the 19th century, but not nearly to the same extent.
